We spent most of the day with my MIL. Today was her post op appointment. So we took her, everything went well and she was cleared to return to normal activity. Besides laying out in the sun. Which isn't something she does anyway, well not exposing that part of her body at least.
After that we went to the farmers market produce stand, and then we went to a flea market. After that we stopped and got Frosty's at Wendys.
So I don't even know when I will make dinner, and I wanted to make something easy. So before we came home for the night, I went to Winn-Dixie and got Lil'Smokies, crescent rolls and stuff to make cheddar/broccoli rice.
Lil Smokies- $5.49
Rice- $1.29
Broccoli - $2.00
Crescent Rolls clearanced to $2.62
Already had the cheese so I'm not adding it in.
So that adds up to $11.40 total, or $3.80 each, since she child is at grandma's tonight.
What are you having tonight for dinner? How much is it going to cost you?

I don’t keep track of the price off the meal it’s self but most of it is store bran Vs big name brand. I did penne pasta with gluten free meat balls and pasta sauce. I also had f garlic bread for those of us ther eat gluten. I made two different penne’s since one is for my 7 year old.

I don't understand gluten free. I mean for people that are allergic, but otherwise, I think its silly.

@ShyBear88 Yeah, I said that other than celiac I didn't understnad it. I was making a general comment on people who choose to be gluten free lol.
My cousin has celiac too so I am familar with it.

@thislittlepennyearns there is also intolerance which most doctors and other people do not recognize but some people do go gluten free for other reason outside of medical. Everyone’s body works different so if cutting out gluten helps keep someone healthy that isn’t something to judge or find silly. I also tell people don’t change the way you eat till you see an actual doctor.

Had some steamed buns with meat filling and rice and chicken for dinner. I', guessing my dinner last night was around $5.

Just some fried milkfish for us tonight. Probably about 2 dollars, for 2 people?

We had tuna sandwiches. I don't eat them often but sometimes they hit the spot.
