Almost Two Weeks To Go - EEEK! :)

Permission to squeal? Just kidding, I don’t need anyone’s permission lol. ;) Two weeks from tomorrow, I’ll be in Washington, D.C., waiting for the Mixtape Festival 2022 to start. I can’t believe how close the show is getting. I bought a pair of leggings for the show yesterday. Actually, they’re capris, but I’m short enough to where I can make either work haha. I thought they’d be perfect because of how shiny and colorful the hearts are, plus, the guys are all about spreading love. :) I’m either wearing shorts over them (for pockets), wearing a jean jacket or hopefully, finding a denim vest before then. We cannot take bags in, just wristlets, so I need pockets. I’ll post a picture of the leggings, as well as the shirt and hat I’m planning to wear. As I said before, the shirt and hat are still in the plastic packaging, inside the box they arrived in, to keep them safe until concert day. I put the leggings in the box too. So, that takes care of about 90%-95% of my outfit. I’m also hoping to meet up with a few friends (one is sitting a few rows behind me, same seat, so I’m sure we’re gonna see one another). :) I’m hoping if we all get there early enough, we can actually hang out instead of saying hi and bye at the show lol. And let’s not forget the fact that I’m finally sitting on the floor for the show. I’m several rows from the main stage, so it’s gonna be insane to see them so close. Probably closer than Merriweather. And who knows? Maybe I’ll get a high-five or something when they go into the crowd. I’m not holding my breath, but I’m crossing my fingers lol. I’m also looking forward to seeing Salt N Pepa again. I’ve seen them twice (both times with NKOTB), and I always enjoy their sets. Rick Astley (we’re gonna get “Rick Rolled” lol) and En Vogue are also on the line-up, as well as Illtown Sluggaz and Griffin McIntyre (Joey Mac’s -one of the members of NKOTB- son) as the opening act, and I’m looking forward to seeing all of them.
