Good Morning everyone!! So far it's starting out a great day. This weekend we had a butt ton of rain and we had to get the Fire Department's food booth up at the fair over the weekend to be ready for today. We couldn't do it on Saturday due to the rain. It wasn't just raining or we would have worked through it but we had thunder, lightning and a down pour of rain. Sunday was blazing hot but we got it done. On top of that, the fair put together a small dinner for those that were helping set up the fair and we were invited. It was nice and very appreciated. Today is a lot of work. I have to do some catch up on computer work. I've been slacking in that area and a few sites have made it a bit harder now that they have taken videos away. The wildland portal is still down so I can't finish that training. Oh and something amazing is today as well..... Ready for this.... I have officially been a volunteer firefighter for one year!! It's a big deal to me and I really can't believe it's been a year already. It doesn't feel like it's been that long but it really has. On top of all of that, I need to go up and take Evoc, our drive test, in the ambulance today. I took it in the fire engine for the fire department on Thursday but now I have to do it for EMS. Well, I don't have to but it looks better on me if I do. There's a few other things I have to catch up on but they're mostly just hobbies. I need to catch up on reading. I'm almost done the ARC from Carrie Ann Ryan and if I can get that done today, it'll be just in time for reviews to go up. I also have to finish Nightwork by Nora Roberts. It reminds me a lot of Honest Illusions though a different spin on it. I need to pick out a new puzzle. I'm putting a small dent in the puzzles in the extra room but there's still too many piles lol. I started reorganizing my books last week and I have to keep tackling that today. It takes longer when I don't really start until around 2 in the afternoon. I work on everything else before I start that part of my day. I'm still trying to sell things on Facebook Marketplace. It's just a hard year, I think with everything going up in prices and people just don't have the time or money. Maybe next year will be better. There's vacuuming and laundry to be done along with everything else. As you can see I'll be busy today lol. What is everyone else up to? How was your weekend? *picture from google
