Hello, all! It's Tuesday Morning here in California. I haven't had breakfast or coffee yet, so I'll be getting those in a bit. It's still overcast right now, so it's not hot here, yet. I put the hummingbird food that I made in the new feeder, and went out and hung it. I need to water the plants, and put some laundry away. I'm hoping to figure out where I put a letter so that I can answer it. Have a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later !

I love your discussion! It sounds like me except that I got up late (9:30), I kept rolling over and sleeping some more. I did my morning chores (cleaning the cat box, getting dressed, etc... I decided to check the lot before my physical torturer came. Actually, it's physical therapy but it's torture because most of the stuff she has me doing I already do on a daily basis. Last Thursday she proudly announced that we would do stairs Tuesday. I about went into snit mode, I don't do stairs, haven't done them for 40 plus years, because the doctors told me NOT to do them because of the fact that one fall and I'm a quadriplegic, besides the fact that my back and neck won't stand the pressure. I thought the therapist would pass out from shock, no one ever tells her "NO"!!!! So, she's going to show me how to use my elevator instead, ROTFL. I use it almost daily, even on my crutches. I've been on crutches since June 23rd. The fun part, like for you, is finding the things I've "CAREFULLY" put away- I still haven't found the transfer part for my digital camera so I can move pictures to my computer. There are still things I haven't found and am not in shape to try to go through the containers in my closet to see if they are there. Sigh, it's quarter to eleven a.m. and I need to get busy on bears...but I had to take a call about getting a ride to my doctor's appointment tomorrow. I spoke to the office, and this is the third time that they called to remind me about the appointment. But I did get the number for the ride share people. As I told the receptionist that called, it was either get a ride or use my Harley Hog to get there. I don't own a Harley, but it's fun to hear and see the reactions to that statement, especially when I am in a cast from my toes to my knee. She just called back and told me that I have a ride. So, with luck, the rest of the day will be quiet, and I can kick back and work on the bears and love my cats. Maybe play a couple of games that I have on my Kindle, and hope that it won't get so hot. Atascadero California was around 100 degrees yesterday and it's supposed to be cooler but I'm not betting on it as the temperature is close to 80 now. It was 75+ when I got up and the sun was shining brightly. Thank the beings that give blessings, that there are fans and air conditioning. I can't afford the air conditioning bill, but the fans do a great job of keeping the temperatures at a tolerable level. So, have a super great day, as I wish the same for all the people in myLot land. I'll post a discussion after my PT and get some breakfast. Hugs to all, the crazy bear lady.

Yikes. Nice to know I'm not the only one--although I can't say I 'carefully" put things away--I just set them down and forget where !

@xstitcher I set things down too...I spent about 2 hours looking for my medical insurance card last night. I finally found it in my wallet, where I had placed it like I was supposed to after I presented it to my medical care provider. Now I'm looking for my card reader for my computer so I can get the pictures of the stuff I want to list for sale online...I've only invested 3 hours so far. I have decided that I really need to get busy and sort out the stuff I really don't need, but that's after the cast comes off my leg and ankle. I promised myself that I am going to get organized and do it soon. Of course, that comes after I am done with doctors and casts and broken ankles. The thing is, you're in better shape because you don't "carefully" put them away-you have a much better chance of finding them if you just set them down. Oh, by the way, I was born in Vallejo and spent much of my growing up time in Napa. I hope to one day see the place where we had lived. We had a house with about an acre of land, and a horse named Midnight. When I was really little I used to go through the fence and sit under the horse. He wouldn't move or go to the bathroom to save his life as long as I was under him. He and I were crazy about each other-it drove my parents nuts, especially when my father would saddle Midnight to ride him. Father would mount up and try to get the horse to go and Midnight wouldn't move no matter what father did. It wasn't until I was out from under the horse that he would move. We gave Midnight to a family that loved the daylights out of him and treated Midnight like a king. I remember much of the area, including Petaluma, Saint Helena, and several other towns. It's a beautiful (but beastly hot in the summer) place to live and I wanted to move back when we got to San Luis Obispo County.

@xstitcher I have to let you know that I haven't found the card reader, so I ordered a new one. Getting the new one is less expensive than the frustration of trying to find it. I figure that the $6 is cheaper than the visit to the doctor. LOL
