Doodles Is On My Lap. :)

Please note: This post is about my dogs, just so nobody gets confused lol. I'm typing this with Doodles on my lap because I think she wants to be held. Bella is in the bed next to my workspace, and I originally bought that bed so Doodles could be close to me. I don't feel like kicking Bella out of it, so Doodles and I are bonding lol. Bella had a bed but destroyed it.... because I don't know what goes through her mind lol. But I'm getting another bed when I get paid on Monday, since I don't want Doodles sleeping in my bed while I'm at the ocean. She's a senior, vision-impaired dog, and I'm usually there to ensure she can get down properly as needed (it's like she knows to she wakes me up). So she'll need to sleep in a dog bed on the floor while I'm gone. It'll be dark so she won't try to jump up there, but I don't want her trying to jump down alone when she already has vision problems. I'm VERY protective of Doodles. We've known her since the day my late Aunt bought her home in 2007-2008ish (I'm thinking 2008). When my Aunt passed away in 2018, Doodles came to live with us (she always told my 18yr old niece that she was gonna give her Doodles). She was also attached to my Mom, who passed away last year (as most of you know), so she's been through enough. Doodles also deals with anxiety, probably separation anxiety, which makes me not even wanna go on this trip. But I also DO wanna go, and I NEED this trip. My family (esp. my niece) will take care of her, as always, so it's not like she'll be here alone. As I said, I'm very protective of her. I just don't want her to think I'm not coming back or something, especially after losing my Aunt and Mom :( Also, she is the sweetest dog. Like, she's definitely not one to mess with the other dogs or our cats. She's just full of love. I just adore her. :) I mean, I adore all of my dogs, but this post is mainly about Doodles lol. Oh, and Bella got out of Doodles' bed, and I just noticed Doodles eyeing it, so I guess she's done sitting with me lol. Anyway, this post wasn't supposed to be about my dogs, but here we are haha. I'll probably make another post with what I actually wanted to say. But until then, enjoy this dog-gone-crazy post haha.
