India had went 2-0 up in the recent T 20 series vs England. In the final match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, India rested some players and played some others. Initially, England lost quite a few wickets. Yet then, David Malan : 77 of 39 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes accompanied by Liam Livingstone : 42 of 29 with 4 sixes took England to a formidable 215/7 in 20 overs. In response, India lost 3 early wickets for just 31 runs. Then, Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav stabilized Indian Innings. Iyer made 28. Suryakumar Yadav batted on and played a superb innings of 117 of 55 balls with 14 fours and 6 sixes. It was an innings deserving a victory finish but alas with wickets falling everywhere, it wasn't to be and India lost by 17 runs, folding up at 198. David Wiley and Chris Jordan took 2 wickets each and Reece Topely took 3. Overall, an exciting match to watch with some great innings. Video link :
