Road Trip Yesterday / myLot

I went with my daughter yesterday to see Aria and Baby Devin. She messed up after baby Devins father got home from prison and she lost the kids to the state. She is doing very well towards getting them back. The littles as we call them is in a foster home 2 hours away. She gets 4 hours with them every Saturday afternoon. The 2 oldest are in a Childrens home 2 hours away in the other direction. They went to the water park, I tried to nap in the van. They all had a good time, and I got some needed kiddo hugs. I miss them so much. I am still worn out today. Photo is mine

Difficult situation, both for mother and children. I wish you a lot of strength and perseverance in making the children close to their mother again and that mother being able to end toxic relationships. I know it's not easy, but it is possible.

I know she loves her kids, but it seems like her choices just cause more problems sometimes.

@jeanena Unfortunately, you can see it in the described story. I hope it will change for the better, mainly because of these children.

I don't know the reason behind the kids being removed. But it sounds like trouble with the father from prison. It .ust be hard for her kids gone.

It has been very hard on all of us. Baby Dekes father is back in jail again. Good place for him I think and she has decided this was too much. She says she is done with him, and I pray she sticks with it. He is one that has no control over his addiction at all.

@jeanena I hope she puts the kids first. I smell trouble. I hear fom my mother's nephew and can tell he is Really bad. She told me when she was alive, forget about him get on with your life. Now I can do bad all by myself. I need yo focus on my recovery now. I have to live a new way, thanks to my stroke.
