Happy Birthday to my Brother

Friday was my 2nd brother's birthday. He is 52. He is trailing me by one year. He and I were just talking, today, about when we were kids and we thought people in their 50s was ancient. Now 50 doesn't seem that old. I am glad that so many people have made his birthday special. His co-workers gave him a surprise party. One of his friends took him to lunch and then another took him to supper yesterday. Today all my kids took him to lunch at a local Mexican restaurant. He had so much fun with them. My husband and I could not go because we had an event planned at church. So when we got home, we had him a birthday dinner here at the house. My brother has been talking about wanting a steak, so my husband grilled out steaks and hamburgers for him. He also made sausage and veggie kabobs. And instead of a traditional birthday cake, I made a Bible cake which is much healthier.
