Ocean City, MD - Day 3.

Now, onto day 3 of 4 for my Ocean City, Maryland vacation. :) The next morning, my best friend decided to order breakfast in because the pancake place she wanted to go to was crowded. Actually, she ordered from the same pancake place lol. I got some sort of Reese's pieces/peanut butter pancakes. I don't think I finished them because they were filling, but I finished most of them, and they were so good. By the time we all finished eating, her sisters arrived (they were staying with us for the night). We all headed to the beach, where I sat in a beach chair and read "Baby Teeth" by Zoje Stage on my Kindle e-reader. We eventually headed back to the hotel. My best friend, the little guy and I went to the indoor pool, where I sat on a chair and continued to read. I didn't feel like swimming. Her sister's went to the outdoor pool. Eventually, we all headed back upstairs to get ready for the afternoon boat ride. Once I was ready, I took a nap since we were killing time anyway. Unfortunately, a storm was rolling in, and they had to cancel the boat tour because the wind alone was too dangerous to be out on the bay. The little guy was really upset because he had been looking forward to going on it again (especially with his Aunts), but he eventually perked up a bit. My best friend also got a refund for her sisters (they had to leave the next morning because one of them had work), and re-booked for her, her son and me to ride the next afternoon. So, we headed to the ice cream and pizza shop, and then back to the arcade lol. We didn't make it to the ferris wheel this time, but it had been raining, so I think the rides were shut down. We got back to the hotel earlier than usual, but we still needed to pack, snack and hit the hay earlier because check-out time was 11am. This time, we watched the first animated Addams Family movie. I think it's from 2018 or 2019? I don't know, but I had never seen it before. I enjoyed it though. :) Photo Credit: I snapped this at some point before it rained.
