Good morning!!!
It's such a happy day today.
Not only did I get all of my work done yesterday but this morning I found out that the Wildland training is back up and running.
So today I have to split my time wisely between working online and getting this training done.
I actually had a decent chunk of time to read last night and was able to almost finish Misconduct. It is definitely interesting and there's still another plot twist that I haven't gotten to yet. No spoilers, just a feeling from the beginning.
The Red Fairy still isn't glued. I won't go shopping until tomorrow so there she sits...on the puzzle board...just waiting lol.
We're still waiting on my husband's boss to get back to him about a job for me. I told him that they're going to do to me what they did to him and make me wait like 6 months and then call me in urgently. I don't get this company, I really don't. Not just for the job thing either there's more that they do that I just don't get.
I asked him yesterday if he was happy with the way things were. With me at home doing everything and him working. He said that he was but we were just planning how a second paycheck would help a lot.
It is what it is I guess. If it truly comes down to me working again, I can get a job. Just because I've been out of the workforce for so long doesn't make me incompetent, just rusty lol.
I made a triple berry cobbler again yesterday and tomorrow I will be baking all day. I told our friend who is hosting the get together on Saturday that I would bake some for it. Handed my husband about four or five recipes and instead of picking one or two out, he told me make them all lol.
So yes, tomorrow will be full of baking. I won't make the friend apples until Saturday though. It'll cut it close on time because we have to go to a bank on Saturday morning and talk about opening new accounts. We decided that since we're in the other end so often that it would make our lives easier to have a bank out there instead of where we're not.
Nothing wrong with our current bank other than we just don't get there a lot and we usually need to at least once a week. It's going to be a pain to switch over but in the end I think it will be worth it.
What is everyone else up to?

I was working while my husband was finishing med school and when he started working we really felt the power of the second paycheck. I’m rooting for ya and for this company to reply asap. You got this!

We're pretty good on one paycheck but a second would help a lot. I just don't know about this company. They say they want people but then it takes them months to get back to anyone. They keep saying they'll get back to me and I went in to talk to them over a week ago.

@Greencindere I don't get it either. My husband went in back in December, they didn't call him about the job until May and then it was he had to start immediately because they were desperate.

@JordanLader dragging their feet ugh I hate that. As a freelancer when someone hires me for a project and then they go silent for more than 3 days I just don’t count that project anymore. Your time is also valued and I can’t understand why these companies don’t realize that. Ugh!!!!

@JordanLader Yes I only lasted for an hour as my ankle started feeling over worked but it's a good start. The fresh air was good for my brain.

@flapiz That's great :) any start would have been great but an hour is awesome. Maybe the next day it'll be a little longer.

I really do lol. Plus I like baking things and taking them to places where people eat them. We don't eat a lot of sweets so when I bake for just the house, it usually goes to waste.
As for the job, well, we had wanted me to work with my husband because it would line up our vacation and the same hours so it wouldn't be so bad in gas. We had a ton of reasons but his job just isn't really cooperating with us.
