Today is the earliest I got out and about. It's hot still, but I missed the worst of it, even by a little. I'm typing on the edge of my dresser, which isn't the most comfortable, but this is just a random post.
The cats seem happy and George mowed the front yard.

My eldest daughter who just lives next door told my wife that Orange, her adopted male cat has never gone home for 2 days now.

My kittens keep getting curious about what is beyond the front door, I wish I had a window they could sit in to look out, but this apartment was built like a place to hang out for a while and not really meant to be for constant living so even though there are two windows in my workroom one has the AC in it and the other has no screen so I cannot open it or the kittens would wind up climbing onto the roof, Although my sweet cat Sid who I brought here from Latvia practically lived on the roof because at night he was meowing for his Papa and felt he was closer to heaven this way until he went to join him finally,

@kaylachan they can, but there is not too much to see since this apartment was built out of an attic and part of the sloping roof covers the view. The other window looks out to the street but has the AC in it.

I wish it was just a tad cooler. Maybe a lot less humid.
