No more roses - it is final.

I am tired of pampering roses. They need the right climate, right amount of water and the right amount of manure. I did have success in the good old days when the weather was consistent - raining at the right time but not any more I have done some study of my garden and have seen some flowers that do not need pampering at all They are colourful too. I will started with bougainville I will plant them in pots. Bougaivillea in pots look beautiful as you can see the wikimedia commons photo which I have uploaded here.

Does that means you would remove Roses fully from your garden? Or just shift your focus to other flowering plants? Have a nice Sunday!!

I will keep them alive just as I do with others. If they yield well and good and if they die I will replace them with plants that easily grow in my garden.

We have quite a lot of these flowers here. Perhaps the weather suits them and they grow very well here. The blooming is also very beautiful. It is the decoration of my city.

Same here and that is what I plan to do. Have them in pots. At the moment they are in the ground.

I find bougainville hard to take care. Sometimes their flowers all fall off and what is left are only leaves. My pink bougainville didn't flower that much too but I love this flower a lot

They do have some minus points but far easier to grow than roses.

A variety is nice to have. Maybe that is why roses are expensive to buy - they need a lot of care.

I do love these blooms when visiting the countryside in my country. I like this because it is a mini-tree.

Roses are finicky. The bougaivillia will be a pretty replacement.
