Have you watched the South Korean TV series "Squid Game"? If you did or if you have read about the plot, what do you think about it? Is the movie so unreal or is it too violent? Or does it send an important social message to people in this generation? Would you recommend it to people around you? Why or why not? Image credit: Netflix

I have watched this a long time ago. For me it is not too violent. So uh I think it is about friendship and traitoring. (Which happens in real life) you think someone is your real friend but when the day comes he/she might left you (Kill you in series point of view) so he/she can get what he/she want. (The winning money in Series POV) I did not recommended this to other. but just recommended to my dad. as I am the one who got recommended to watch this

Yes, sometimes friends can betray you for their own personal interests or ambition. I could happen sometimes. But I like the ending because in the end, the lead character has given up the prize money to save the life of his friend.

Yes, I have watched it. I like the plot and how it was filmed. I had a mixed feelings watching it that I wrote a review about the Squid Game. I would recommend it but not to the children as it was a horrifying movie for the children to watch.

Oh, you wrote a review? That's amazing. I hope we can read it. but I guess MyLot does not want us to share links to our posts. It's definitely not for kids, they might imitate the games.

Well since it is fictional, I guess it is indeed unreal that rich people would go to that extent of spending their money to kill innocent people around. They are like playing God in that they play with the lives of the players.

It would normally not be my kinda of thing, but I actually liked the Squid Games series - I couldn't wait to see the next episode. It sucked me in . Of course it is not real and is violent . . . I guess it was just "different". I found the psychological elements interesting . . . what people will do in greed.

Yes, there's an aspect that shows human behavior at its worst and best.

@Jenaisle Human behavior - yes! I guess that's why it intrigues us.

I have watched it the day it was launched on Netflix. It's not the first series that I've seen with the same plot. The first one I saw was Alice in Borderland and it's Japanese. It's unrealistic of course but it's mind boggling and exciting that it keeps you on the edge of your seat and don't want to stop watching. And for that, I highly recommend it to people.

Yes, it's nerve-wracking to guess who would get the ax next.
