Tuna and Broccoli pasta for dinner

My household has been trying to skip the rice consumption at dinner time so we've been trying out meals that are hearty and just as filling.
Last night I made bacon and potato soup with milk and herbs. We paired it with toasted bread slices. It was so good my children finished the pot!
Tonight I thought to make tuna and broccoli pasta. I added olives, olive oil, garlic and parmesan. I would've added lemon slices but didn't have any. We all loved it! My daughters would have broccoli any day.

This recipe sounds good. I have never tried combining tuna with broccoli. All your foods looks yummy

It's healthy and delicioud. Definitely worth trying. I found the recipe on the internet and modified it a bit.

Haven't tried this combination. I usually just have Broccoli as a veggie dish.

it's our first time to try this recipe and i'm glad it turned out delicious. i guess it's always good to put in the kind of vegetables that everyone would like. as it happens my girls are crazy about broccoli!

it is indeed very easy to make. i just asked my kids to help me boil the pasta because i spent much time chopping the broccoli!

we do love it too. it's a no-guilt dish and it's easy to prepare. i might make a similar version but maybe more like a pasta salad with the same ingredients.

That sounds delicious! I always make the creamy garlic chicken pasta. It’s my favorite and I can eat it for lunch breakfast and dinner lol

thank you, it is delicious. we love that creamy garlic chicken pasta as well, and we also add broccoli to it. i would've added cream to this dish too it's just that i didn't have cream in my pantry. maybe next time.

I had never tried pasta with broccoli, only pasta with tuna and pesto, I guess I would throw in some next time to make the dish even healthier. I assume the broccoli was parboiled how long?

Yes, I parboiled the broccoli for a fee minutes. Maybe 2 minutes?
