Hasbrouck Heights police officer Christopher Connors answered an emergency call from a concerned female who is either the mother or relative of a young girl whose age was not revealed to the public who was inside of a two story building.
The adult female told Officer Connors that since the young girl could not get out of the burning building she was wheelchair bound.
Officer Connors then took action to run upstairs inside of the burning building and grab the wheelchair bound girl by carrying her away from a possible death sentence into the first floor and into safety to the delight of the adult female who was happy that a police officer saved the life of the young girl.
Hasbrouck Heights Police Chief Joesph Rinke praised the actions of Officer Connors who insists he is not a hero. He was just doing his job to protect and serve his community.
Officer Connors will likely be given a life saving award from his superiors at a public ceremony in the near future.

My pleasure to share these wonderful rescue stories. I really hope that Officer Connors receives a huge reward for his rescue of a young girl who was wheelchair bound. That is a real hero.

What Officer Connors did to save that child made me smile that he did his job to the best of his ability.

It does take a lot of courage for a police officer to enter a burning building to rescue a young girl who was wheelchair bound and save her with impressed me since he remains humble for his act of bravery.

How inspiring! I so appreciate emergency workers who consistently risk their health and lives for others.

The emergency workers in my opinion are real heroes who do not get the admiration from the public that they deserve.
