I dont mind that I am not rich as long as I am healthy. I am on a budget starting this year because I am having difficulty reporting to work. At least I do hope I make it in this job until the end of 2022. I will try again to ask my boss to leave my job. Those absences has helped me regain energy from less stress and time to do the simple things I like like reading, watching movies and of course beign here in myLot. The wife of my partner's brother had water in her lungs and had a stroke. It is difficult for me to even put this into words. She is only 43. She has 2 beautiful children 17 and 10. Things like these makes me re-evaluate my life as well makes me feel scared and heartbroken. Apart from the physical suffering is the financial distress. It makes me feel like the post title is inappropriate but it is very much a reality. The burden on the family especially when there are kids who still needs support as well as installment payments and debt. It is like even more problems on top of hardships. We don't know what is in store for us. But I try to do a little healthy thing here and there. There are times I am under too much stress and feel my body cant take no more and is buckling down is when I would cocoon myself in my bed and hope for some healing and rejuvenating. A cup of tea or a nice chat online works wonders. I hope you had patience with my stream of consciousness in this rainy day on my side of the world.

I understand how you feel. Life is uncertain and so many things can befall us and our loved ones. About the best we can do is take life one day at a time and give it our best shot.

@RubyHawk I'm too scared to even think of it. I gather happiness and moments of joy and peace to prepare for the darker times.

It is best to keep yourself healthy when you are young because it may help you not have as many challenges when you get older.

I tried to eat as much avocado when they are in season, I also drink turmeric and green tea. I hope these little things will be of help.

That is partially true because keeping your health may cost money in order to keep you in shape. You love being much more comfortable being healthy than the opposite end of it, which is the only difference between the two opposite ends.

@yoalldudes Maintaining to have a healthy life also needs some maintenance like buying the right food, vitamins and some medicines that could help you keep fit. Physical Exercises can be done freely but at times you may need to go to a gym so you can be monitored and guided by their trainors.

@rsa101 Just feeling good walking and loving life will do wonders. Gardening can add 10 years to your life. Reading 2 years.

I agree with you. There are many good reasons to try to stay healthy. And it is not even expensive,

I am also at that stage now. Feeling burnt out and starting to realize the importance of self-care and slowing down. Hopefully both of us are able to recharge and continue and stay healthy. Everything else will come into place.

Just a while ago I listened to some healing music. I do have work to do on myself. That is a good thing you are planning I hope you get around to doing it.
