The morning glories I planted by the patio fence have made it all the way up to the top of the shepherd's pole. Now I guess their only way to go is down. I think the morning glories will look nice if they hang. They may wind up going down the pole and grabbing ahold of it and going down that way. Slowly, the vine is gaining flowers. I look forward to when there are a lot of flowers open !

Wild morning glory is decorating the roadside with their blooming flowers as I do my early morning walk.

I have some nice deep purple ones but they self seeded so much last year, even though I was nipping of the seed pods as much as I could, that they're still coming up in my veggie patch closest to them.

That's good then normally you don't want things to attach to other things.

It will be a wonderful event to see flowers growing on the vine.

Morning glories are beautiful flowers and will keep climbing as long as they have space.

I love all kinds of climbing vines, but the ones that flower are the very best! I'm glad this planting worked out for you. I just wish I didn't have such a black thumb, LOL!
