Another Sci-Fi wants me to Wonder if this isn't All 'Just a Dream'

The show is MASTERS OF SCIENCE FICTION, the episode is called "A Clean Escape." (Watch it Free (with ads) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5qqd53DCs4 ) I'll try not to spoil the plot too much, but a crucial fact is that a main character (played by Sam Waterston) has what another main character (played by Judy Davis) tells him--we can only assume -for the billionth time--he has a condition she calls Korsakoff's Syndrome, where his short-term memory only lasts 20-or-30 minutes, beyond which he thinks it's still the early 20-aughts when he was 41 years old (which is how old I am, BTW ... born in 1981). So are you living the life you choose? If not, it's at-least 'the result of bad choices' (made by you or -by somebody else); right? If you ARE living the life you choose, are you sure it's not a delusion? (What difference would it make if your life WERE a delusion---your chosen delusion ... Cholusion ?)
