What is religion to you?

Religion to me is the beacon of hope in a world of betrayal, hatred and self-loath. We have stopped loving ourselves as who we are. But, religion has also caused mass-murders, historically known as 'ethnic cleansing'! But that's not religion's fault. The fiasco is brought by those preachers who try to compare beliefs. God is but the Supreme power. He may be The Christ or the Muhammed, or Lord Krishna- but whoever he/she is, the purpose of religion is to reinstate placidity and demolish inhumanity. Do you believe in God?

Religion is a way of knowing God. There could be many ways to know Him. But we have to be wary of those who want their religion as absolute, as the way to know God. That is fanaticism.

Christ taught us to love one another. The parable of the sheep and the goats in Matthew 25 shows the immense value God places on us caring for one another and helping each other.

I believe in God since His laws say if we obey Him, we will be blessed and happy even if life is rough because of my beliefs.. If we disobey Him, we will cursed and sad persons
