Ensign Tilly joins the Faculty at Starfleet Academy; thoughts?

So the USS DISCOVERY makes it through their little problems ... by transporting 900+ years into the future. And sure, there are a few multi-episode story arcs in the series; but I think it's cooling down to where--like with 'THE ORIGINAL SERIES' & 'THE NEXT GENERATION' before/after/before it (time-travel makes things weird)--you can watch almost any episode without having to see 'all the episodes before that one.' One 'story arc' that (while it probably won't make much difference to DISCOVERY's plot) tugs at the heart-strings of 'we who LIKE school' is Ensign Tilly's hiring-onto the Starfleet Academy faculty. After a big crisis (that Sylvia Tilly helped solve, BTW), the Federation-of-Planets needs to deal with the conflicting cultures that combine within it; and Tilly has a gift at helping people see each other as friends, so Starfleet Academy hired her on to guide future Starfleet-leaders to get along better! How do you think this'll play out in future episodes (or in future STAR TREK series)? My first thought: Saved by the Bell INNNNNNNNNNNNNN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE Or maybe ... Hey! Does LOWER DECKS ever specify whether they're in 'the current STAR TREK time-period' or 'the time-period 900+ years later (I guess they would call it "after The Burn")'? Because--if it DOES take place 'after The Burn'--the main characters could all be Ms. Tilly's past students! Ms. Tilly? Or maybe it's Dean Tilly (or Principal Tilly)!

I have never really been into series or movies having to do with space and have never watched Star Trek and shows like Lost In Space

Well, if you've got about 700 hours to spare, you can get 'all caught up' on STAR TREK

@RasmaSandra A lot of it (at least the The Original Series) was a lot like 'TV westerns.'
