How do you react when your ex calls you when you are with your girlfriend?

when you are fine with your beloved one, suddenly the phone rings...
it was really shocking when i looked at the phone screen, my ex called suddenly after a long time of no contact
I reacted calmly like any other friend called and then used the magic word, "I appreciate this call and will really call you later"
Luckily my girlfriend doesn't suspect who just called
Maybe everyone's reaction will be different when faced with this situation right

To be fair I rarely use my phone around my partner. I put my phone down and curl up to him and watch movies with him, or game or talk to him. I will go several hours without looking at my phone.
If my ex called me I would presume that his phone got a virus... Like last time he called me... At 3 am...

Good idea, but not rare my partner asking,"where is your phone..." with suspecting face :-)

You should not pick it up or if you do you should inform your girlfriend about it.

If I had an ex, and they called me, I wouldn't keep it from my husband. I would also hear my ex out, depending on how we parted. If it was on bad terms, I would've blocked them.

I will not pick it up lol, like i was busy right now with my beloved one, i dont even have time for exes
