While I decide what I will do with my musical posts, I begin with some very old lists I have had forever. Some of the songs go back a very long way, and some you might know and some not, but I think it is worth telling you about them.
The first is “Do I Love You (Yes, In Every Way)” is a song co-written and recorded by Paul Anka. It was on his 1972 album. The song made it to the Easy Listening Singles charts in the US and Canada. The song was adapted from a French-language song, "Plus rien qu'une adresse en commun" and popularized by Claude Francois, with Anka composing the lyrics in English.
The version I fell in love with was by country music artist Donna Fargo in 1977. It was on her album Shame On Me. The song was on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and went to number one on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada.
