The Kindle I got on Amazon recently finally came--it actually didn't take that long.
Now I just have to figure out how to work it and get a "book" on it. Then hopefully I'll be able to participate on that "book club"/book review site I recently found.
I don't know why--I expected it to be bigger. I'm guessing that different "models" are different sizes?
Anyway, here goes nothing...

I have been impressed with the speedy service I have received from dealers at Ebay which promised me that the print cartridges that I ordered for the printer last Tuesday would arrive in about one week. They arrived in four days.

You're right, different models are different sizes. I have the Kindle Fire 10 which is larger, then the Kindle which is a bit smaller and then the Kindle reader for buying and borrowing books which is much smaller. I recommend that you try the Kindle book borrowing to start with and go from there. It should allow you to do the book club/review site you found.
I love all three of my Kindles. I took the one for the books with me this morning when I went with my friend down to her surgery so I could drive her home afterwards. The only thing I would have loved was a Starbucks coffee to go with it. I was up at 4 a.m. today and got to help her with her driving at 6:30 and got home three hours later. I am looking forward to going to bed tonight (hopefully at 8:45 p.m.) and getting some good sleep. Otherwise, if you want any help with your Kindle, feel free to contact me.

@xstitcher The first thing you need to do is charge the darned thing. I have had a ball with mine, the Fire 10 I have some games loaded on. One game is finding the words from the letters that they provide. I have found it extremely helpful in my regaining my memory after the ankle surgery. I still have things I don't remember, but I figure that they will come back to me sooner or later.
