A dog that was chasing an opossum in Union City California had the bad luck of being trapped under a cement slab on Tuesday morning. The owner of the small dog who is female called 911 to seek help from the Alameda County Fire Department to rescue her small dog who was trapped underneath the concrete slab. The Alameda County Firefighters were careful in breaking the cement area where the small dog was trapped so he would not be injured by the falling debris. The dog whose name was not mentioned was reunited with his owner who was very happy to have her dog back. What I know about dogs is that they will chase cats but I have never heard of dogs chasing opossums on a street. I hope the dog learns a lesson to be more careful chasing opossums in the future.

I am happy that the dog was rescued since he must have afraid being stuck in the cement area trapped.

That is true since I am sure that the dog must have been scared of being trapped underneath the cement.
