Do You Feel Most People Are Different Than You?

I keep hearing about "The Age of Loneliness", and came up with a funny quote I like to repeat, "Now we can all be alone together". And then the pandemic. But before that, I'd guess most communication was not face-to-face anyway, but that's just a tiny part of it. The internet is a great place to talk about certain things, hobbies, interests, that are more specific and less general, but it's still tough. Sometimes impossible. I actually feel there's probably less than 1% of people like me. And the few times in my life I've found these people in life - in person or online - they don't seem to have my enthusiasm to get to know each other. I don't leave home anymore, because there's no reason to. It's so annoying to hear something say, "Get some fresh air" - what fresh air? It's pollution and noise pollution. And the one time I would have left my house this year for an event was a concert (Chicago - the band) where everyone ditched me last second, which is why I asked five different parties, because I knew most would back out at the last minute and change their minds, I just didn't know everyone would have, and I don't really talk to people anymore, but thought one would simply because the concert was on my 40th birthday. Maybe I need to accept the fact that no one cares. When I was more successful in life, people did, but it was because they didn't have a house of their own, or for other reasons.
