Maybe Pastor Jakes was Talkin' to Me: "When You Feel Like You Can't Do More, GO DEEPER!"

His message (a sermon on his broadcast "The Potter's Touch") was based on Lord Jesus' advice, when He told Peter (just after He had preached a sermon from his boat) to try fishing in the deeper water. (Peter was just 'cleaning his nets' (after being unable to catch fish all day) when Jesus asked to use the boat, and Peter's 'one more casting into deeper water' caught so many fish they almost tore the nets!) Pastor Jakes told us he was "Talkin' to Somebody 'bout this! Somebody Needs to Hear." Maybe you do, but your ears aren't the ones on my head Pastor told us that one of the biggest regrets in his life was that he didn't go deeper---he didn't specify 'what that meant' in his life (I think he was a special-effects coordinator (in movies), and he went into ministry rather than going deeper into the film-industry?). Had he taken 'his boat' deeper into 'the industry,' Jesus could've used IT for His Platform (getting back to Jakes's initial message of that day's sermon (entitled "And It Came to Pass")---Your Boat is His Platform (Your Vessel is His Platform; Your Talent, His Platform; Your Work-Position, His Platform; Your Degree, His Platform; Your Very Existence ... ... Your connection to society-at-large is a broadcast-frequency for Him to get out His message!) How is He delivering His message from your boat?
