With the school year now I’m filling motions I have to keep up with my kids and showers. Since I can see there daily special (PE, music, art, library) I know which days they might be more sweaty then others. This is more so for the older two kids not so much the 7 year old when it comes to washing. My oldest is every other day during the week because middle schoolers have less specials (she PE and resources on A days and on B days classes she as Chorus and Art.)

How about going for a shower daily? They can do it before bedtime if the morning is a rushed one.

Why would some need to shower daily? It’s actually very bad for skin to be washed on a daily. They do bath on the evening but 3 kids 2 bathrooms there is only so much hot water at a given time. Never wash body or hair daily. Your body needs you bodies oil this helps protect your skin longer. Most dermatology will tell you unless your are a super oily persons or sweat a lot then you do not need to wash daily. Hair is the same way it doesn’t need to be washed daily that is more like ever 2-3 days with about the size of dime worth of shampoo on the crown of your hair.

@ShyBear88 We live in tropical countries. Maybe that makes it a part of our cultural thing to take daily showers. I take it twice. I don't feel fresh if I don't take a bath in the morning after my workout or even other wise. It's a gentle wash without any soap. I take a good shower in the night before bedtime. I shampoo my hair two to three times in a week. You are right that too much of harsh cleansing is not good. I go gentle with my skin.

@arunima25 tropical or not the whole world gets hot temps that are not part of the south and North Pole. We do get tropical weather in the US and heat index can be pretty high depending on where you live. How often someone wash is usually a personal choice not a cultural choice. Everyone skin works the same way.
