With all the Lifeless Twitter-Accounts ...

I wonder if they would lose too much of their 'registry' if they closed all the accounts that have been inactive for a few months. On a 'Twitter-management site,' I'm shown "when each account I'm following made its latest tweet." Some of them haven't Tweeted in YEARS! Those are the first ones I UNfollow! (Granted; maybe some people join Twitter just to people-watch ... but I'm not interested in following those people ...) To me, Twitter is an online 'club' (like a bar or a dance-club or a 'soda-shop,' not like a Facebook-group ). And you aren't 'a regular customer' of the club if you haven't been there for a few months!

I have one inactive account. I just don't understand what it is for. With the limit of words allowed. And also there's other better social media why is it popular or even considered useful

@mythociate i don't like postcard. I like reading like a newspaper with long stories and pictures and videos. Anyway, if they will close inactive account, go ahead. I don't think people will bother since they don't check their accounts. They can easily create new ones. I created mine for the purpose of searching the accounts of famous people.
