Back from bank...

I walked part way across the shopping center closest to the apartment complex, then went out onto the sidewalk.
I heard sirens, and a CHP went by on the road, and then a fire vehicle went by.
When I crossed the street to the other shopping center and started walking down the sidewalk there, I could see a fire truck and a police car or two down the way. A car was parked there at a bit of an angle with the portion of the front with one headlight missing.
I went into the shopping center and walked to the bank parallel to the accident so I wouldn't get in the way, and yes, snapped a few photos.
Now my money's in the bank, I can pay my rent, and now I can clean up a few things before lunch.
I hope that your morning/afternoon/evening etc. is going well in your part of myLot land!

Wow, that looks terrible. Glad you got your business taken care of.

It wasn't as bad as it looked, thankfully. I saw the driver of the car sitting in the driver's seat talking to a police officer, so there was no "Jaws of Life involved or anything like that.

I'm about to ask what's CHP when I read your reply to M.L. Now I know it.

Sounds like a productive outing getting things done.
