So Why Haven't I Referred to Trump-Supporters as a ''Trumpies'' before?

I saw 'that Joe Biden speech where he decried Trump-supporters as "a threat to democracy"'---where he said "everybody has a right to be an idiot (he said, in response to a 'Trumpy' protester at his speech) ... Shouldn't 'we' (I'm an independent, but I'm friends with lots of Liberals/Democrats) have been calling MAGA-Republicans "Trumpies" all this time?
