This is movie with Queen Latifah and Beau Bridges in it. Brenda is Queen Latifah in this movie. Her husband died of cancer and the family could no longer live in their home so had to move from there and moved to Houston, Texas. The mother lives in Houston is why they moved there. Someone called Brenda on the phone and told her to return the money that was theirs. On the road they encountered trouble right away because the daughter gave these two guys the finger and they did not like that. After that it was a situation with a criminal's money. He turned out to be a corrupt police Capitan in Arizona. It was one danger after another. I have seen Queen Latifah in things but she was really good in this one. The movie takes place in 2022. It is a very interesting movie. They are a black family so the first encounter was probably racist and the money situation was about a criminal's money. One of the children asked if there were black people in Houston where they were going to live and Brenda told him that there were a lot of them.

Sounds interesting. I'm not a big movie watcher, though.

@Hannihar I cancelled my TV service because I was never watching TV. Even on Sundays, when I used to watch American football.

Wow! I love romantic movies and korean drama, I seldom watch tis type of stories not because I hate them, but because it really breaks my heart. I don't even watch romantic movies unless I know it has a happy ending, s always watch the ending before start watching it. Life is full of heartaces, and betrayals, and bad things keep happening, that is why I prefer to watch a light stories with happy ending. I witness a lot of heartaches that's why I treat myself wit a good and happy ending stories. :)

@luisadannointed In this movie they did win in the end. I do know what you mean about heartaches and betrayals and bad things happening. Love in the Villa is on Netflix and if you have Netflix you should check it out. It has a very happy ending to it.
