Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. A day before yesterday was a very important day as we celebrate "World Suicide Prevention Day" on 10th September, every year since 2003.
On this day, a lot of workshop and different programs are organised in different countries for promoting the awareness of symptoms of suicide and another one is to provide awareness about it's prevention.
I know from the fact that there are a whole lot of people around the world committing suicide every year and it's alarming.
There is so much competition, comparison, pressure to perform etc which leads to some or other kind of stress which then leads some people to take this extreme step.
People have problems in personal or professional life wherein most of all have experienced that stage to just give up and surrender but it shouldn't be the case.
I feel and believe that there is no problem which can't be solved by communicating and taking people's advice, putting in efforts rather than committing suicide.
In India too, every year a lot of people are committing suicide. It's seen across all age groups, gender, caste, religion etc.
In order to raise awareness and help people who are in stress, the government have come up with Suicide Helpline Number wherein people get help and counselling so that they don't commit suicide.
We as a society too can do our bit apart from the government. We can be more compassionate, less mean and rude, show empathy towards people in general and especially can help people around us who we know are stressed just by communicating with them or just listening.
Let's hope and pray that people around the world living in different places get that inner strength to face the problem, someone to communicate about it and get help. "Suicide isn't the way, there are better ways to deal with any problem or situations in life".

A helpless person having no way out takes this extreme step. For this the society is responsible. If the people of the society are compassionate such cases won't happen.

True indeed. Rightly said. Many times the people in family are so busy in their lives, they don't know what's happening in other member lives. On the whole, if society listens to such people and help them, it can be avoided. Also many times people just want to be heard, they get some relief if they are heard
