Celebs endorse different brands. Do you think they consume it themselves??!!! / myLot

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. I was just wondering today that there are a whole lot of celebs in the world who endorse different brands in different countries. Celebs endorse products right from Groceries to Car and almost anything and everything they can lay their hands on. I was thinking do they really consume the products or services for which they must be charging hefty fees. I don't think they must be consuming it themselves. It's marketing gimmick of companies and them to attract consumers to purchase their product or services. I find it really aweful when these celebs endorse tobacco products as they must be getting huge amount of money for it. I feel and believe that celebs are public figures so they should act responsibly. If they showcase themselves in such ads consuming those harmful stuff then many people in the society are going to follow them. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a great day!! Take care!!

I think they are not actually using it. Maybe yes and maybe no depending on how good the product is

I think some do use a product for awhile and then don't use later on. Yeah most of them probably don't use it. I know that I once thought about joining a multi level marketing company. I was told that I didn't have to use the product just sell it. Which never made sense to me so I didn't join the company. After reading more about the company and the man behind the company I'm glad I didn't join it.

I could be wrong but it's likely (at least in some cases) they get free supply of the product they are endorsing, so it's likely they use them, too. For example, a celebrity mom endorses this brand of milk for kids. Likely, she receives a certain amount of that milk for free, so she might be using them for her kids. Or a celeb is endorsing a particular brand of makeup... etc. Of course, if it's a car they are endorsing, I'm not sure if the company would just give those away for free. Lol!
