“Could It Be Magic” is a song with lyrics by Adrienne Anderson and music by Barry Manilow. The song was inspired by Prelude in C Minor, Opus 28, Number 20 by Frederic Chopin. The song was initially released in 1971 by Featherbed, a group of session musicians featuring Barry Manilow, and produced and co-written by Tony Orlando. The song was reworked in 1975, and it became Manilow’s third hit.

I did not know that the song "Could It Be Magic" was inspired by a classical tune. I remember that the late singer Donna Summer covered that song from her second album "A love Trilogy."

I know about this tune being inspired by a classical piece. It's one of my favorite songs that Manilow sings.
