is smoking allowed in your home? Its not in mine, because nobody is allowed to smoke around the children. There are 3 small children in my home.

No we don't smoke and we don't allow it in our home. If they want to smoke when they visit us, they have to go outside. That is what my husband's mom does when she visits. It doesn't bother her. Just like when we stay at her house when we visit, we don't expect her to go outside, we just have to deal because it is her house.

I don't allow anyone to smoke in my house. I don't want to breathe it, my cat doesn't want to breathe it, and I hate the way it makes the house smell like a stale tavern, no matter what you do. I admire people who don't allow smoking near their children, by the way. Second hand smoke is so dangerous, especially to children.

Thank God no one in my home smokes! My sister in law does though but she makes sure she does it outside away from my kids. Such a nasty habit! Makes me sick just smelling it.

We wouldn't allow it in the home if we had to put our foot down on the issue, but our relatives and friends that visit that smoke are considerate enough they go outside without being asked when they smoke.

My husband smokes but he has to either go outside to do it or in the garage. He also does not smoke in the car around the girls either.

We try to ask family members and visitors to refrain from somking when the children are around. We do it in a nice way and almost 100% of them do give in and they understand. They are not offended since they ARE family and they know how much we love our children.

My husband is a smoker but he is not allowed to smoke in the house, in the car or anywhere near the little one. I dont even allow him to take her after he's smoked. We are all sinus sufferers including her and i do not or moreso cannot stand the smoke smell, its not allowed period! Even when i was pregnant he started the habit of not smoking around me.

I smoke here at my mothers because she allows me to eventhough I am the only smoker. I do however have no problem observing friends and families homes that do not allow it as I respect others wishes.

No one has ever smoked in my house, since I've had my own apartment, and no one ever will be allowed to. It's a rule.

I smoke, but I don't like smoking indoors, much less my house. Stinks things up way too much, plus you're just breathing more of it afterwards. I wouldn't smoke around kids period, especially indoors, but that's me.

Nobody smokes in our house either, I grew up in a house filled with smoke and simply can't accept smoking around my home or children. If someone really needs to smoke they can feel free to go outside and kill themselves.

Although we don't smoke, we have children and friends that do. My husband built an enclosure for our porch and that is where people go to smoke now. I do not approve of smoking, but if they want to do it, they can use the porch.

I don't allow smoking in the home. My husband doesn't smoke and neither do I. When my husband does have a smoke (which is maybe once or twice a year), he makes he does it when my son isn't around. I do not allow anyone to smoke in my house. Even guests are politely asked to have their smoke outside. It's not about the kids alone. I personally cannot stand the smell. I have an uncle who is a chain smoker. Even he isn't allowed to smoke in my house.

My husband smokes but he does not smoke in the house or in the car when the kids are in it. He is trying to quit, so having to go outside in the cold to smoke makes him smoke a bit less.

We are not smokers. I remember trying it out in college, but I never thought it tasted good, or could even see the attraction! And since I was a singer, smoking was not something I ever got into, thank goodness! I even had a doctor tell me one time though, that he thought it would be better to be a smoker than to grow up obese...so pros and cons...It also costs so much nowadays!
