Are you nostalgic abou of the years 60/70 or you prefer to live in this period?

Hmmm, I have mixed feelings. I do miss some things from that era, like how I could swim in the ocean because it wasn't so poluted or how I got more done because there was no internet or DVD player to distract me. I definitely don't miss jello molds with little fruit pieces inside, those scratchy, sweaty, polyester clothes or the way everyone's house used to smell of damp macrame. (ha ha)

I am not much but I do have a 12 yr old daughter who is totally hippy, she loves everything about that era. For Christmas she wants a beaded curtain and already has a vw bug that she plans on restoring and painting wild colors with a smiley on one side and a peace sign on the other. We also have a lot of friends who are like this so she just fell in love with it all.
