International Day of Peace is celebrated Today on 21st September!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. Today, it's "International Day of Peace" which was firstly established in 1981 by passing the unanimous United Nations General Assembly Resolution. The motive of this day is to "strengthen and commemorate the ideals of peace through an international framework". This day is celebrated so that people across the world forget about their religion and contribute to make peaceful life in one direction rather than taking path of discrimination and violence. It's important to show empathy towards others. Different workshops and programs takes place in different countries in order to promote the idea of peace. The theme for 2021 was "Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world". The motive was to stand up again taller and stronger from the brunt of the Covid pandemic. I feel Peace in society and in life general is very much needed in order to progress, evolve and live happily in life. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!
