Have you ever entangled your lace curtains?

Durga puja is drawing near and I am busy cleaning up. I washed my bedroom lace curtains in the washing machine and they got entangled, though I put them one after another into the machine. It's taking more than half an hour to set them right. I have decided to wash the rest with my hands though it would take lot of time.
I think I should replace these curtains in future. Have you faced such a problem?

It's the worship or the idol Goddess Durga. We pray to her for 10days and ask for her blessings. Lot of rituals are performed during these days.
