Slept much better last night, woke up at around 7 a.m. this morning. Got up and made the bed, turned the computer on, and received an email that said this: *Hi Stacey, It looks like it didn’t fully release to me. You’ll need to log back in and fully release it to me. You usually have to release it on 2 separate pages. Once you’ve gone back in and done that, let me know and I can check and make sure it worked. Thanks for reaching out! * (I had emailed the lady and told her I'd finished the papers, but wasn't sure about signing them). Sheesh. Now I should be finished, and they can start my background check. Now, I'm going to get breakfast and coffee and get this day started. Have a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!

It seems like there is always "ONE MORE THING" to fill out on a background check! I hope they can get through it quickly and you can get the job. I hope that isn't an indication of what the job will be like. I haven't been up too long, I actually slept in for a change. I will admit that I got up at 4 a.m. to use the bathroom and it took a few minutes to get back to sleep. But it was nice sleeping in, even Petey didn't wake me. He was perched up on top of the dresser. I'll have my breakfast later; I combine breakfast and lunch. I had a horrible craving for chocolate, so I consumed a few pieces of the M & M's fudge brownie pieces. I picked them up when I had my doctor's appointment. Fortunately, I bought them before the appointment and tried them. They're rather good so I bought a second bag. Today is going to be a day where I recertify for my housing, get the paperwork ready to send off on the fire PG&E caused that burned down my home, and hopefully dig out my walk-in closet. I put a bunch of stuff in there because of the inspection yesterday. Anyhow, I want to get that off my list so I can kick back and relax a bit, maybe work on the teddy bears. I finished one last night and started another...I'd like to get really rolling again and get through some of the fur I have stacked up. Anyhow, back to the subject at hand, I am glad that you've got your background check going. Here's hoping (and I have no doubt) that you pass it and get the job. I'm going to get my tail in gear and get my paperwork done. Maybe this afternoon I might go and try to cash the check from Western Union...that depends on the pain levels in my ankle. Have a great day and I'll "talk" to you later. L & H's

Thank you, Toni! My trouble has been that I thought I was done, but I forgot to... Technically, I've been hired, but I can't start until all this paperwork/the background check, etc. is done and all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. I've been busy this morning, so I need to make an "I'm done" (as far as chores) post and have some lunch. It's 1:07 by my computer clock, right now. Nothing much going on around my apartment complex except I got a notice in my email about parking and moving the car I don't own because they will be repaving in here, or it will be towed. Of course they send a mass email out to all residents, but I love it when it doesn't apply to me in the least (never drove, never owned a car)!

Why they take so long to act on your paper? Background check seems to be not applicable here. Only banks are conducting a character investigation.
