My Days: Wednesday and Thursday, September 21 & 22, 2022

Yesterday was pretty uneventful. Just like nearly every other day. I knit some on a sock. I found out that my youngest grandson got married. I knew he was going to get married while on leave after boot camp graduation but didn't know exactly which day. A friend of mine and I talked on the phone for almost an hour and a half. I dropped a couple of stitches while I was sewing the toe closed on a sock that I knitted. Now, I will have to mend it. This morning, I got breakfast from Wendy's. I got a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, 6 pieces of french toast sticks, and a bottle of orange juice. I'll well you what, I know I can make better French toast sticks than they did! . I took the trash out today and while walking to the little dumpster and back, I thoroughly enjoyed the weather! 70 degrees and sunny and gorgeous. When I was walking back, one of the ladies was outside her apartment so I asked her if she likes cherry tomatoes and that if she does, grab a bowl and come over to pick some from the plant that I have. She was able to fill a small container up with them. This evening, I knitted some on a sock while at knit zoom. I'm about 20 rounds away from being finished with the body of the sock and then I will knit the heel into both socks.
