Hatred is not the opposite of love because hate and love can be interchangeable. Sometimes, you can hate the person you love. If you feel something towards that person it indicates that you still care for him. The opposite of love is indifference. When you're indifferent to whatever the other person is doing then, your love is already gone. That's why I often hear songs saying, I love you and I hate you in one song. I don’t think you-can hate the one you love.They could do something so horrible that your love would turn to hate but it would no longer be love. It would then be hate.

Yes, both cannot exist simultaneously but sometimes we can hate the one we love when they commit mistakes towards us. I might it can occur sometimes even if you love the person.

That's right, Basically hate and love are the same feeling . But if You're indifferent, It's mean you're done to him.

Opposite of love is not explainable. I thing the word is "Doubt". If there is no relational affection with things or beings, there should be certainty of doubts. When doubts are there we have much more questions to ask and it is good in my view. That's why people of old age used get out of house without showing much love to there family to find their self now the word is enlightenment.
