It’s time for another Not-So-Daily Blogging Challenge haha. I’m not changing the title to match that though. You can see by my posts that I don’t do the blogging challenges daily anymore lol.
Anywho, Day 186: “What has been your favorite concert you’ve ever attended?”
I think we all know the answer to this one haha. Without a doubt, New Kids On The Block (NKOTB). I’ve seen my boys five times so far (2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2022), and I have had a blast at every show.
Now, while I’ve enjoyed every NKOTB show, the 2021 and 2022 shows have taken the top of the list. The 2021 show at Merriweather came when I needed it the most, as it was just 11 days before my Momma’s passing, and we were dealing with the stress of trying to figure out what was going on. I needed that mental break so much.
It was also the first time I had ever been several feet away from the New Kids, as they were on the platforms near my section during a few songs. This show was also the first time I was directly under the confetti, as opposed to it flying up near my section, because the confetti blew in both the front and back of the venue.
The 2022 show in Washington, D.C. was my fifth NKOTB show, but it was my first show with floor seats. I was up-close and personal with the guys several times and got a boatload of confetti to take home lol. I also saw two friends I don’t get to see often during and after the show. Oh, and I got to hear “Twisted”, which I’ve been dying to hear live since 2016.
And hey, maybe when I post about my sixth NKOTB show (whenever that may be), I’ll be telling you about my first VIP (with meet and greet) experience. :)
Honorary mention goes to Meat Loaf (R.I.P.), which was my first concert when I was just 11yrs old. It was at Merriweather in 1996, and I went with my family. I still have some memories of the concert, especially the giant inflatable bat during “Bat Out of Hell.” That man could put on a show!
Alrighty, back to work I go! Take care, everyone! I’ll try to be back before I hit the hay.

Oh, how I love Loaf's songs at least he left his music behind to be enjoyed. I am glad you enjoyed the concert, Hey, got a question for you apparently got a nibble on a job to join a writing team and write travel articles. Since I love doing that and I already have my own armchair travel blog this is great for me but to explain about the writing and all the person who contacted me said to get in touch with his boss through Telegram. I write on a desktop PC and have no mobile, and I wrote back and told him this. How can I get around this I sure hope they don't drop me like a hot potato. I didn't even know about this app.

@RasmaSandra I only talk to my clients on the actual websites (i.e., Textbroker and Fiverr). I'm not 100% sure about Textbroker, but it's against the terms of service for me to talk to Fiverr clients outside of the website.
If you cannot use this app, talk to your client and ask if there is another way because you are still interested in working with them.

The NYKOTB experience at the two shows you wrote about do sound wonderful. I’ve only been to one concert which was Tool. I did go to the vans warped tour though and loved it. My son is envious I got to see Tool live but I really wasn’t into their music I just went with his father who loved concerts!
