Soak up the Sun

Who loves to soak up the sun? I sure do! The more research I do into natural healing, the more I find out that the sun is necessary to good health. I can testify that I feel so much better when I spend a little, each day, in the sun. Perks of soaking up the sunshine: 1. The best source of Vitamin D3 is the sun. 2. Sunshine is a natural disinfectant. 3. Sunshine is a natural pain killer (I know this personally). 4. The sun helps regulate the immune system. 5. It promotes proper blood flow. 6. Sunshine helps reduce inflammation. 7. The sun increases relaxation. These are just a few therapeutic effects of the sun. So, I for one love the sun. Can't wait to get some time outside tomorrow.

Usually have my morning coffee in my vegetable plot watching the sunrise. After more than a week of rain and gloomy skies, today the sun was shining and I'm glad to be able to enjoy my coffee outside the house.

I love a good soak under the sun but recently I feel that sunlight at 7:30ish am onwards is very ‘painful’ to the skin

I like to go out on sunny days but I cover up with sunblock and I don’t stay out long. Sun does cause skin cancers.
