It is really lovely experience to see sunrise from Tiger Hill in Darjeeling.

Tiger Hill in Darjeeling is situated at a height of around 8000 feet above sea level. Travellers come to the destination in jeeps and cars. I had the lovely experience of seeing the sun rise from the top of the hills. It looked like a red ball all of a sudden rising up. The sky look crimson and the clouds aside also look lovely.

We too visited Darjeeling but had to cancel the trip to Tiger Hills as my son fell sick. It's a wonderful sight.

thanks Aninditaji another hurdle is the appearance of clouds. If the sky remain cloudy one might miss the sunrise. But the rise of the sun is really awesome
