Hello again, myLot !

Got home around ten minutes to five, changed into my church clothes, and it's now five sixteen p.m. While I was changing my phone rang. I figured it was the pastor's wife calling to see if I needed a ride, and sure enough, when I came out and checked my phone, it had been. I called her back to let her know I was coming. My boss at my old job, where I worked today (because when she asked if I could work a week or so ago, I called the coast guard place and was told my background check probably would not be done by today) had a couple of new kids since I was there last--one a fourteen-month old if I remember correctly, that was older than he looked, who spent a lot of the day either crying or screaming and we couldn't quite figure out why. One of the girls there was an older child (preschool age) who used to go there but her mom needed a place for her to go today. Altogether we had nine kids. One of the newer little guys, I was told, had just started yesterday and did better than the cryer/screamer, who had been there longer. It was chaotic, but I made it. Plus, I made $120, which I can use. The bus this morning got me there early, so I stopped a few houses down from my boss' and hung out with my dog friend Stella, who came running to her fence when she saw me (the "fence" is the black iron type with fairly wide-apart bars). I threw the ball for her a few times. Just a second ago, before I finished typing this, I checked my email and saw there was an email that I evidently got from the Coast Guard Daycare director asking if I'd found an "alternate form of transportation", and Lyfts (a car service like Uber) are not allowed on base and the Daycare is two miles in from the entrance. Oi. I emailed her back and asked what form of transportation would be best. Then I emailed her again and asked if there was someone I could get a ride from the entrance. This is mighty crazy. Anyway, I'd better post this and finish getting ready for church. Hope you all have had a good morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!
