Good morning from here. I hope you're doing good in wherever you are. It's 12:44 am here of October 14, 2022.
After my night work shift from October 12-13, 2022 (8pm to 6am). Imagine of that long hours due to overtime. Force overtime work. It's not my will, it's scheduled overtime but less pay.
Anyway, after 6am shift (13th of October), I've eaten my breakfast then left at home to send my youngest son to school. After dropping him to school, I go directly to the nearest SSS branch to ask, how it will go to file my consolidated restructured SSS loan for my previous loan initiated last 2012.
Although, I paid some amount and only left unpaid remaining principal balance of Php7,000. And due to long timeframe of not paying that loan, there's an interest of Php6,300+ (I forgot the exact amount) plus the penalty of Php16,997.
Awesome, the penalty is too high. The male SSS customer service in that branch assisted me fairly. He thought me how to file a consolidated restructured SSS loan in order to remove the penalty. Although the interest will not be removed but the good thing penalty will be removed.
Also in the transaction, I've filed my youngest son to be included in one of the beneficiaries in case something happens to me in the future.
I've tried to ask for a replacement SSS ID because there's a new one given. However, I forgot some necessary documents. I'll do the next week.
Upon reaching home, I did the consolidated restructured SSS loan that the male customer service representative instructed to me.
Good thing. Successfully initiated.
My 10% downpayment will be on or before 14th of November. Then, my next first monthly amortization will be on 31st of January 2023. There will be 12 monthly amortizations to complete the entire principal amount and penalty.

@RebeccasFarm Thanks for that. Although as of the moment, I'm working it out to fix the downpayment on or before November 14.
