Do All the Characters of ''KNIGHT RIDER'' (the original series, and the reboot-etc.) Have Back-Stories?

I'm gradually watching the original KNIGHT RIDER series on NETFLIX, and ... well, I come across the character RC (a.k.a. Reginald or RC3 (Reginald Cornelius III)); and--rather than just dismiss him as 'the studio's diversity-hire' (which he very-well could be, though it's probably a bit "forward-thinking" for a studio in the '80s)--I decided to go & find out if they gave him a valid back-story (or "background"). https://knight-rider.fandom.com/wiki/Portal:Characters
And they did. He was a 'vigilante' (carrying around a fake gun and scaring gangs & thugs with it as Street Avenger), and Bonnie enlisted him as a member of the F.L.A.G. team after Michael & K.I.T.T. met him stopping some bank-robbers.
