Last Sunday I decided to go for a stag meal at the MHOW club. I was in the mood to have a glass of beer and some nutritious snacks to go with it. I asked the Barman which beer was available. He told me that my favorite Kingfisher beer was available.
He also told me that he would be calling the caterer. The caterer's soon appeared and I ordered veg pakoda and fish tikka. it was a nice afternoon and in the background was a wonderful statue of the trademark Johnny Walker whisky. I am told this is at least 150 years old.
With the backdrop of Johnnie Walker I enjoyed the fish and pakoda as an accompaniment to the beer. Pakoda is a dish that is typically South Asian and consists of rolling the vegetables in a batter and then fry them in olive oil. It makes for a very nice snack.
The fish tikka is well known so needs no explanation.
After I had consumed two glasses of beer I needed a replinshment and I opted for fried fish. After that I didn't feel like taking any lunch and after tipping the bar man and caterer I left. It was a nice soothing time
