As I was watching an episode of The Tulsi Gabbard Show (where she spoke of the old 'Duck & Cover'-days, when films tried to convince people (mostly elementary-school children) that crouching under your desk for a few minutes would save you from the blast of a nuclear bomb & -from the radioactive fallout that came with it), I remembered Neil deGrasse Tyson's clarification about Tactical Nuclear Weapons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqJ1T6r-2WQ That worries me, because it removes one aspect of the Mutually Assured Destruction that (I think) kept the world at peace. Although I think the main aspect of it--'you blow part of US up, we'll blow part of YOU (if not 'all of YOU') up'--remains the same, I also thought part of it was 'you blow US up, then the radiation'll come and GETCHA!' So we should still listen to Tulsi Gabbard's advice to cool this whole war-thing down.

I generally think that not lobbing missiles at each other is a good thing. I 'll have to watch the YouTube video.
