This episode was subtitled "A Nation Divided," and it featured stories about how our groups (age-groups, political-parties, income-brackets, etc.) hold differing opinions that make them think they have to go to war to find a way to live without cow-towing to the tyrants-in-charge.

(Oh, the special also showed lots of peaceful ways we're bringing the divided nation back together!)
I'm not sure which 'nation-dividing matter' to bring up here (you can tell me what you think the problem is below), but the question I wonder-about is, Do you think this special would've been so 'worth saving' if usual-host Jane Pauley had hosted rather than Ted Koppel?

Sounds like a lot of nations divided we in fight for democracy and authoritarianism. Sounds like most want the latter till they see it. Do that to them, not me, my lesser.

Reminds me how Tulsi Gabbard 'frequently' (at-least twice 
) calls The Democratic Party "a cabal."
I looked up the roots of the word 'cabal,' and it turns out that that's the meaning of 'being in a political party' (and also 'in a religion')---you are only allowed to stay in the party if- (although yes, you originally become a member of the party BECAUSE-) you agree with almost-all the points of the party's 'agenda.'

@mythociate Its all out out of whack. Everything is so confusing even if paying attention. They obviously did for confusing reasons.What did your mother teach you or your pa, grand pa, grand ma? Not to be like those fools. So easy, but mom I have to be hard. You are hard standing up to dumbness. Easier said than done for sure.
